For Uber, Lyft and delivery drivers
Your car.
Your clients.
100% of the pay.
You already know the roads, the stores and how to treat people right. Turn that into your own errand business. Clients book you directly, pay you directly, and you keep every dollar.
Errands, not rides. No passengers, ever.
$49 to start, then $15 a month. No commission. Keep driving for the apps if you like.
How it compares
Same skills. Your own business.
You do the driving either way. The difference is who sets the price, who keeps the customer and who keeps the money.
Who sets the price?
Apps: Usually the app.
Carryaroo: You do. Time and miles, or a flat price.
Who keeps the customer?
Apps: The app. Next time, they may get someone else.
Carryaroo: You. They save your page and book you again.
What comes out of each job?
Apps: The app's share and fees.
Carryaroo: Nothing. You pay one flat $15 a month.
When do you get paid?
Apps: When the app pays out.
Carryaroo: Right after the job, by Zelle, Cash App, Venmo or cash.
Who's in your car?
Apps: Strangers, on ride apps.
Carryaroo: Nobody. Just groceries, packages and errands.
Who finds the work?
Apps: The app sends you jobs.
Carryaroo: You do, with 250 cards, a QR code and your own link.
Uber, Lyft, DoorDash and Instacart are trademarks of their owners. Carryaroo isn't connected with them.
You keep 100%.
Clients pay you directly. Carryaroo never touches your money and never takes a cut. You pay one flat $15 a month for the tools.
Example math using the numbers you pick, with a month counted as 52 weeks ÷ 12. It isn't a promise of jobs or income: what you earn depends on your prices, your clients and your work.
What you'll do
Same car. Different cargo.
Groceries, prescriptions, returns and packages ride in your car. People don't.
The featured button on your page
“Just ask.”
Clients can ask you for anything legal and safe. They pick the day, the place and about how long. You show up and help, and the bill is your real time and miles at the end. You can always say no.
Errands drivers already know how to do:
Your first clients
Where your clients come from.
You meet people every day. Now each of them can book you again.
People you know
Neighbors, family, friends, your building, your church. Start with the people who already trust you.
Your 250 cards
Hand one out everywhere you go. One scan of the QR code opens your page.
Your own link
Share carryaroo.com/yourname in local groups, in your status and in texts.
Happy clients
They save your page, leave a review and tell their friends. Your list grows.
Carryaroo doesn't send you jobs or hand you anyone else's clients. Every client you get is yours.
Keep it simple, keep it safe
Three rules.
No passengers. Ever.
Not the client, not their kids, not a friend, not for a short trip. Carryaroo is not a ride service.
No household moves.
Moving furniture from one home to another for pay needs a registered moving company in Florida and many other states. Carrying things inside the same home is fine.
Nothing illegal or unsafe.
You can say no to any request, and you should if something doesn't feel right.
Questions from drivers.
Can I still drive for Uber, Lyft or DoorDash?
Yes. Carryaroo is your own business, part time or full time. Many drivers keep the apps for steady work and build their own clients with Carryaroo. Carryaroo doesn't ask you to stop.
Can a client ride with me?
No. No passengers, ever: not the client, not their kids, not a friend, not even for a short trip. Carryaroo is for errands and everyday help, not rides.
Who sends me jobs?
Nobody, and that's the point. You find your own clients, and they stay yours. Carryaroo gives you the tools to look professional and get booked again: your page, your app, 250 cards and a QR code.
How do I get paid?
Your clients pay you directly with Zelle, Cash App, Venmo or cash, right after the job. Carryaroo never touches your money, and tips are 100% yours.
What can I charge?
You decide. Charge for time and miles like the apps do, or set a flat price. We suggest $5 to start, 40¢ a minute, 76¢ a mile and a $15 minimum, but every number is yours to change.
Does my car insurance cover errands for pay?
Ask your insurance agent. Many personal car policies don't cover driving for pay, and rideshare coverage you have for the apps may only apply while you're logged in to that app. Tell your agent you run errands and deliveries for your own clients, and ask about business use.
Do I need a business license?
Many cities and counties, including many in Florida, require a local business tax receipt to run a business. Check with your city or county.
What about taxes?
You're running your own business, so what you earn is income you report. Your Money tab keeps a money and miles log by week, month and year that you can download for your tax preparer.
What does it cost?
$49 to start: your page, your app and 250 business cards mailed to you. Then $15 a month. No commission, no contract, cancel anytime.
