Privacy Policy

Carryaroo is run by Vorrex Ignite LLC. This page explains what we collect, why, and who can see it. The short version: we collect only what's needed to connect helpers with their clients, we never sell your information, and we don't show ads.

What we collect from helpers

• Account: your email address, used to sign you in with a one-time code and to send you notices about requests.
• Your page: the name, business name, photo, phone number, area, services, prices and payment handles (like a Zelle email or Cash App tag) that you choose to show clients.
• Billing: Stripe handles payments. We receive your plan status and the mailing address and phone number you give at checkout, so we can mail your cards. We never see or store your full card number.
• Location, only when you share it: while a job is under way and sharing is on, your phone sends your location about every 15 seconds. We keep only your latest spot for that job and clear it when the trip ends.
• Job photos and messages that you add to a request.

What we collect from clients

• The name, phone number, email (optional) and address you enter when you book, plus your request details, notes, messages and any cancellation.
• Your browser also remembers your contact details and your recent requests on your own device, so you don't have to type them again. You can clear this in your browser settings.

Things collected automatically

• One sign-in cookie for helpers. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
• IP addresses, briefly, to stop spam and abuse (for example, limiting how many requests can be sent in an hour).
• Normal server logs kept by our hosting provider.

Who can see what

• A helper's page is public. Anyone with the link can see what the helper chose to show.
• A request is seen by that helper and by anyone who has the request's private tracking link. Keep your tracking link to yourself.
• Carryaroo staff can see account and plan details to run the service, print cards and help with problems.

Companies that help us run Carryaroo

We share information only with providers that help us operate Carryaroo, and only what they need: Netlify (hosting and data storage), Stripe (payments), and Resend (sending email). Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, and the live map loads map images from OpenStreetMap, so those services see your device's IP address when you view those pages.

What we never do

We don't sell or rent your personal information, we don't share it for advertising, and we don't use your location for anything except showing it to the client on that one job.

How long we keep it

We keep helper account information while the account is open. Requests, messages and photos are kept so helpers and clients can look back at past jobs, and are deleted when the helper's account is deleted or on request. Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes, and sign-in sessions after 30 days.

Your choices

Helpers can edit their page anytime in the app and can turn location sharing off at any time. Anyone can ask us to see, correct or delete their information by emailing hello@carryaroo.com. We'll answer within 30 days.

Security

We use HTTPS everywhere, sign-in codes that expire, private tracking links, and limits that slow down abuse. No system is perfect, so please tell us right away if you think something is wrong.

Children

Carryaroo is not meant for children under 13, and helpers must be 18 or older. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy in an important way, we'll update the date above and email helpers.
